November 2014 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Sunshine
Carnival Liberty
Sail date: February 08, 2015
Our accommodations were excellent, as we chose an expanded balcony cabin. Our only complaint was the very very limited dinner service. Because we had signed up relatively late, the only dinner seating option was 8:30 pm-- not feasible for us. As a result, we ate exclusively at the Lido Buffet. As a vegetarian, this was not a fabulous dining experience. Our other "problem" was the cancellation of the main port of call, San Juan, due to weather. Our only compensation for this substantial inconvenience was a refund of our port taxes. Although we do understand that bad weather is an safety consideration, we felt that some kind of compensation would have been appreciated in the form of a modest onboard credit. After all, that was one third of our anticipated excursion that we lost as a result.

The airport adventure was "odd" but fun.
