The ship was beautiful. Service was great. It was our first experience with free style eating. We liked it. Make sure you reserve ahead of time to get the special restaurants. They book up very fast. The French restaurant was excellent! All meals were great even on the buffet. The children's pool was not far from the adults pool which was small. Some of the entertainment could be upgraded. Of course, we were comparing it to other cruise lines that we have been on. Our preference would be to have an adult cruise, our fault for not asking. Bottom line.....everything was fantastic! I definitely would take another Norwegian Cruise.
Cruise tips
Naturally went to Atlantis. It was exciting seeing it finally! Always something I wanted to do. Very pricey! Be prepared. It is beautiful and the history including Michael Jackson was interesting.
I only saw it from the ship. Would like to spend some time along the shore in Miami.
Took "Americus Cup Ship". It was fun! We lost..
Norwegian Getaway
Plenty of diversity from "walking the plank" to attending a comedy act. The French Bistro was outstanding. They were so accommodating even though we did not have reservations.
