The excursions were the best part of the cruise.  I was underwhelmed by the cruise.  We ate at the buffet, it had interesting choices, but the food was not hot.  The pizza is sub-par, whatever sauce there was was not very tasty.  

The two shows, Motown and the Brits, were good.  Would have liked more shows and more family friendly comedian shows.   We enjoy dancing and there wasn't any that we could find.  The acoustics for the trivia contests was terrible, most people had a hard time understanding.  

We did go to the Windstar dining room on the Elegant Dress evening and were treated wonderfully there, especially by Lajla.  

Our room steward did a good job of taking care of us.  

We chose the cruise because we wanted to visit Charleston and the Bahamas, but the overall Carnival experience would make me hesitate in recommending this cruise to anyone else.
