Number 9, but going back to Princess or Holland
Music loud!!!!!! Cruise was generally,…ok. Was lacking interaction from the Captain, I think we had one announcement from him, BUT, he/they did a REMARKABLE job getting us out of port safely in 55-70 mph winds, great job

Elegant, classy ship
Loved the ship, food okay, met a lot of friendly people, I mean a lot, that really make it nice. But, this is written during the corona virus, we were shocked we were allowed off, as very few hand sanitizers
February 2019 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip) Cruise on Allure of the Seas
Exceeded expectations. Cruise 7 for us, 3rd with Royal Caribbean, (though I prefer Holland America Line as more intimate and reminiscent of the old days of sailing before the mega ships), this ship and its crew blew me away. Rarely ever felt any waves, never even knew we were moving, so smooth. Awesome staff ship is very well maintained

Unique ship, book shows before you leave home, as dumb as that seems. Very strong ship, very little movement in seas, well engineered! Staff is very good. Ship is overwhelming at times, but has a lot of great venues on board

Cruise tips
Based on recent travel warnings, I was apprehensive, stay in tourist areas you’ll be fine. I was surprised just how friendly the Bahamians were, whether it’s their job to or not. Very pretty area
Freedom of the Seas
Music is REALLY LOUD. Music venues are so so. Captain might have blown the horn one time, seriously? The other ships did horn battles in Nassau, not us. Never even saw the Captain, we used to see the officers every cruise, not anymore. From experience, the shop handles very well in rough seas,

Industrial area, but a reasonable 30 minute drive to LAX. Facilities are descent

Keep in mind the average age is probably 60, some in 30’s, there were over 1,000 over 70, it’s not a party ship
Beautiful area, safe, apparently party town at night
Safe, no problems, could come back a few more times
Miami, don’t even get out of the car, $$$$!Airport is easy to get to and from port.
