This is an complete cruise package, including meals, non-premium alcohol and gratuities. Excursions were reasonably priced. Our stateroom had a problem with toilet flushing, but it was manageable. The staff are very attentive. On-board medical facilities are limited and any serious problem must be handled "on-shore." Embarkation began at 3 PM, with nowhere to wait if arriving early.

We are swimmers, but swimming pool is small and was always filled with kids diving/jumping (not allowed) without a monitor. No adult-only swimming area. We found food to be less enticing than on a previous NCL cruise. Disembarking in ports was disorganized. Excursion/Customer service people were rude and unhelpful to passengers who had booked non-NCL tours.
We had an exceptional cabin steward, who made up for the numerous negatives we excerienced.

The embarkation time is 3PM for the cruise took. E, and earlier arrivals had no place to wait. This could be a problem in rainy weather. Alcohol, except for premium brands, is included in the price, as is all food, regardless of restaurant. Evening dress is shoes, collared shirt/trousers for men
Cultural tour was educational
The tour package covering ancient history was very educational.
There is a lot of walking on cobblestones. Our guide was exceptional, but others we heard were not so good.
Late tour (12:30) meant a rushed time in Old Town since ship departed at 4:00.

Suggest small group tour (not NCL) as we had to wait for slow members several times.
It was raining, but we felt tour was too short.
Trip to Berlin is a long day and much walking. The non-NCL tours seemed to have better guides, judging from discussions with other people.

The cabin was under the swimming pool area, which meant that people were scraping chairs and making noises early and late. As swimmers, the pool arrangement was a major disappointment - small with no "adult only" area.
