Epic Cruise
This was a great cruise for the value. The ship was nice, the food was good, the crew was friendly. I would recommend this trip. That said, we still prefer Royal Caribbean as their ships are nicer. Also, we only had 3 main shows on the Epic and had to pay an upcharge for up to 3 more. We paid once for the Circus and Dinner. Was good, but at $40 each for the premium seat, I felt it was over charged. Royal Caribbean does not charge more for shows. I hope the cruise industry does not go in that direction. The Epic, although very nice, did not have as nice of pool deck as other ships, the layout just was not right, but still okay, so still consider this ship.

We very much enjoyed our cruise on the NCL Star. We had a mini suite that worked well, the food was very good (a few exceptions), the staff was very friendly, the shows were good (but not excellent), the ship was a nice size, and the ports of call were all great. We had an issue with very slow tender service in Roatan which took us 3 hours to get off the ship and over an hour wait inline to board a tender back. Also, since must people had the Ultimate Beverage Package, NCL had very few, none by the pools, waiters walking around pushing drinks, so we had to stand in line each time we wanted a drink (some lines were short, others long). Embarkation and De-embarkation was smooth and fast. I love the Port of Tampa. I would recommend this cruise.

Cruise tips
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Had a great time here on the zip line and beach, but it was cut short due to the slow tender service.
Fun time here.
Not much there expect pushy sales people. There is a swim up bar we used.
Norwegian Star
Expect lines to get a drink, very few waiters pushing drinks since most people have the ultimate beverage package. Get your tender tickets early as wait times are the worst we have seen. The staff is friendly, be nice to them, they work hard.
Seems every ship stops here. We rented a cheap that was really in bad working shape. Someone we talked to also rented a jeep and they were stopped by want looked like police and then robbed of tall their money. Stay in town by the crowds.
Stayed the night before the cruise at Sailport. Use priceline for a great deal, would want to stay there again. Loved the port of Tampa. If you have extra time to burn before your return flight, there is a lot to do around the port, The Florida Acquire, Street Car, shopping strip, WWII ship to tour, all within easy walking distance. They store your bags.
Weather was not good, so not much to really do but shop for a while and get back on the ship
Like the mountains
Good weather on the day both getting on and off. Terminal was easy and fast.
Norwegian Epic
Make your show reservations in advance, they were very filled up.
