Carnival Fantasy
Sail date: September 26, 2015
We learned the valuable lesson of "you get what you pay for" aboard the Carnival Fantasy. It was our first cruise. The ship was smaller and much older than excepted. We were disappointed because our travel agent promised us an anniversary cake and champagne, but we never received it. Oh well. There was only one, small pool for children and adults. When went in it once, but left after we noticed the layer of sunscreen and other containments that lined the top of the pool. There is an adults' only area which was nice and relaxing. Not many dining choices but we made due. We enjoyed the late dining and the pizza. If we cruise again, we will select a different cruise line with a newer, larger ship.
The people of Freeport are amazing, however, the port itself is very industrial; not a tropical paradise.
Carnival Fantasy
The comedy shows are great! We definitely recommend going to every one. The ship is very small and old. If you want seating at a show, go early.
