This is our 2nd Carnival cruise and, overall, it was another wonderful experience. The crew is helpful, patient, personable and, in many cases, very entertaining. There is, however, room for improvement with the debarkation process at ports of call.
Cruise tips
Not a particularly good beach, but there's shopping and Margaritaville for some fun.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Bring a very good sunscreen since you'll never want to leave the gorgeous beach!
An excursion to Atlantis is a must!! Book early if you want to swim with dolphins!!
Carnival Splendor
Check out the Pinnacle Restaurant -- for $35 per person, you receive a meal and dessert that would cost well over $100 in any other restaurant!! We made it our last night dinner and were sorry we didn't have another opportunity to dine there. The Golden Pearl buffet was excellent as well!
