We took an excursion and had NO time for shopping/browsing. Did feel rushed.
Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)
Very relaxing, but not much to do there other than play on the beach.
We took an excursion and had time for shopping/browsing as well, without feeling rushed.

Ruby Princess
It takes a bit of getting used to - the elevators don't go to all floors in different areas of the ship. It can be confusing. The portraits were price-y, albeit good quality. Some excursions allowed for ZERO time to explore the island/port.
Great time!
Food was a little under expectations (for example - surf & turf was steak and shrimp, not steak and lobster. No midnight chocolate buffet like Carnival has. The ice was cheap quality and the iced tea was weak),
Activities were varied and entertainment was better than average.
Excursion choices at the ports were better than on other cruise lines.
This was our third cruise, but the first one on Princess.
