Wonderful surprise

Expected the worst due to reviews we read however we experienced the opposite. One of the most enjoyable cruises out of over the 35+ cruises we have taken. The staff were friendly and helpful but maybe not quite as professional as some other cruise lines staff. Ship and entertainment were first class. Don't let the reviews stop you from trying a msc cruise.

Disappointing! Buffet was terrible and food in dining room and specialty restaurants just OK. Service was excellent throughout the ship and staff was friendly and helpful. Entertainment was poor and production shows were elaborate but confusing and singer

It was disappointing. We cruise often and this cruise probably our least enjoyable.

Disappointed

Unfortunately, our tour was cancelled and one of the ports we wanted to see was changed and I also got the noro virus so missed another port we wanted to see. The tv in the room did not have any regular channels due to a satellite problem. The room service menu is EXTREMELY limited. The air con thermostat in the room did not work properly and we caught colds.

It was OK

passengers on this cruise were great. The food was just OK. The wait staff was very good and our room steward was very good. However, guest services and the assistant next cruise person were very poor.

ship was great, food was very good too. Entertainment just so so but the itinerary was wonderful. Weather and seas were a bit rough on a couple of days and there was a medical emergency on board that prevented us from going to Mykonos which was a shame but couldn't be helped

Carnival Liberty

Ship was nice and food was very good. Shows were not so good-performers were good but the content of the shows was not-just two of the bands were good in the lounge areas. cruise director was irrating-went on and on and on!
Two of the four comedians were very good the other two just so-so. Staff was very nice and service was good but most were unable to answer if the simplest of questions.-training definitely needed.

There needs to be some clarification on the "your time dining" as we inquired in the restaurant indicated in the program and was told no that we had to go to the restaurant we were assigned to-they said no as they closed in between seatings and only choices were early or late seating. The program says "your time dining" in the designated restaurant between 5:45 & 9:30PM. If you can only go at either the early or late seating then it is NOT "your time dining".
