Highly recommended, made and met a lot of great people Thank You, short cruise ,two islands ,Even if you go solo, and for me ,being on a budget and not getting stupid with buying $15 dollar drinks and staying out of the casino, it it was financially economical , It was my treat to myself, post covid celebration,
PS, made up for it, and I drank when I got home and played lotto, lol

RCC IS ONE OF THE BEST, food ,entertainment are always on top, Being a frequent cruiser i'm always looking for value, (you're allowed 2 bottles (embarking) of wine and 12 waters or sodas) and not to have my pocket constantly picked, like Norwegian does and Disney, (Mickey mouse is very expensive) If you're looking for good service RCC ,CELEBRITY, 'PRINCESS , you go off peak for value

NCl. Gem should be called NCL ,lemon , the food was a disappointment, the waiter service was awful, not to blame the waiter ,they were very nice, they were short staffed ,overworked and in training, that's the problem with Free styling, the service is very unprofessional, and the incentive to provide good service is taken away ,because they are guaranteed a gratuity ,no incentive, Since this new CEO took over Frank, Deliro, He has enacted a Mandatory $13.50 per person per room Service Charge, 10 cruise, 4 people = $54 a day x10=$540 on your bill at the end of your cruise, You are ambushed and most people are un aware, He took away my personal tipping authoring, and they decide who gets the money at the end of the month, if at all. He should resign, because he is destroying NCL, and trying to turn it into all about money on how much he can suck out of you, two drinks $25 white Russian, vodka and cranberry, if you want a good meal ,you have to pay extra

Sailed from Jan 2 to Jan 14 -12 day , loved the ship and the service , our waiter and assistant waiter were excellent. (Buffet windjammer great buffett) Love being served -tired of freestyle . RCCL allow you to go to guest services, cancel your 13.50 off you bill each day per person,and you can tip cash to your waiter assistant and steward, and most staff aboard rather have it that way. Thats why Ill never cruise on Noreweigen again. Everything was top notch and postive ,the only draw backs were landing in Martinque on Sunday -everthing is just about closed -except Church -The drink packages are around $800 per person including there %18 gratuity they charge you , On the other hand if you buy a Pina Colada its around $13 a beer is $8, etc, The robot bar is a unique novelty , but still prefer the real talking human bartender with large melons, looking at a hunk of twirlling Terminator steel does not do it for me. All the toys are great -bumper cars flow rider -sky -rock climbing etc

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas
was not a perfect day due to weather, food excellent and staff
Bahamas economy, very poor a lot of homeless and people trying to make money is still recovering a lot of stores not open and when exiting the ship, be prepared for the onslaught of being hassled from aggressive locals , it can be very intimidating, from getting taxis, tours, or locals selling drugs ,and is very annoying, keep cool, Remember, we are there lifeline, Advise, be very alert and stay in public areas ,and learn the word NO THANK YOU smiling AND KEEP WALKING ,other than the initial shock the rest of the island is great ,bring a mask because store merchants demand you wear one, and most of all remember to have fun

Take advantage of all the ship has to offer, It goes by real Quick,

loved the beach and the upgrades RCC upgraded, As long as you stay with whats included,did not use RCC COSTLY water park, it becomes very clear THAT COCO CAY is a perfect money maker.
Flew in and flew out;did not have time to see Miami
Always loved this port, shopping and cable beach

Remember the ship uses annoying terms like complimentary dining, (like there giving you something for free) You pay for that, it should say included,and gratuities,should be earned, not forced make it a point ,you give it yourself and not through the ship, just go down to guest service and remove your tips off your bill and ask for envelopes, The steward and waiter,assistant waiter are the ones who deserve and earn tips for a living ,the rest are paid labor from the ship,and your Cruise purchase price

Dont go alone -its sad, but there were a few people that did this , Thought it was strange, my heart broke for them, but then ,I realized its better to live your life and go out and face the world and hopefully finding somebody to share it with

Food was okay not very good but okay, I would not recommend this ship , stick with celebrity, Disney, even Carnival, Royal Caribbean, if your looking for good service and good food, and most of all you can Tip your waiter ,steward and Bus Boy, keep it personal.
