A Costa Cruise

The ship was well kept and clean mostly but the crew was not helpful and had an attitude..Service was poor until I complained and the air was kept so high that it felt like a sauna most of the time in and out of the cabin. Service in the dining room wasn't the best, until I complained and had the entire table moved. After the complaint, the servers were great and the crewmember that did the exercise class was terrific..Other than that. pick another ship

Mediocre cruise and ports of call

We picked this cruise for the stops. We booked a suite since we ere going to be on ship for 10 days ...We have cruised many times. The ship is in need of some repairs..which surprised me since it was supposed have been refurbished within..the last few years..Our suite was very nice and the service in cabin was great. The best of the stops was St Petersburg Russia even with the mishaps that happened on our tour. The food was mediocre at best. It seems that all of the ships have cut back on food choices and quality. The private suite lounge was very nice except that there is NO windows.....Very little on ship activities compared to others and the entertainment was mostly like watching my Grandkids recitals. The dining room service left some to be desired. ..But as in most things...Great company always has great fun... They have some improvements to be done.

could've been better

The new decorations of the ship were very nice...I was on the ship last just before they were done. The crew did not exactly go out of their way for anything and I was not happy with the bar service when I went to the bar for something. Service in the dining room for dinner was very slow as they had new crew, but they did try hard. Announcements were not as good as some and surprisingly there was no introduction of crew members

Not the best ship

The ship had a strange layout...We had to stand in line for extended periods of time at the buffet...Too large a ship...For the most part, the crew was not friendly or helpful and our cabin was right below the pool area, so the noise at noise was at times unbearable..Room service was the worst I've ever had. always forgot something and got it wrong when they were called again and BEWARE...If shopping be careful I think the ship turns in your receipts to Customs! I made the mistake of shopping on board and customs was waiting for me at check out.

A wonderful cruise-tour

the ship was ok compared to ther ships....Concierge level is not worth the money...Captain never let you know when wildlife was around and didn't make announcements when things were going on

Not the best choice

Stops were shortened...which didnt give you time for anything....Activities have been lessened..Not like they used to be and very $$$$ Not as much variety in the food as there used to be. Food was always cold and service was not good...It took over 2 hours for dinner service which is a very long time to ask children to wait for their food. We had the Grandkids...ages 10 - 7- 5
