Omodos is a lovely, quaint old style town and the Camadarie (local wine) is delicious! The ruins were amazing at Kourus and it is a beautiful country!
A lovely seaside town. The ruins (what else) were nice but it was raining very hard the day we visited and this was not the kind of sightseeing you want to do in the rain. The people were very nice.
Other than seeing the pyramids and the Sphinx, it was atrocious. Many of us were robbed, there were dead animals in the canal in the center of the city, and we were caught in a horrible sand storm. Miss it, if you have to miss one port!
This is a beautiful country with friendly people. You can miss the carpet school, though it was full of gorgeous rugs- expensive though
Lovely countryside, and great shopping in Old Towne
I recommend seeing Rome on your own! Do not book the excursion and do not believe that it is accessible for those handicapped. The marched us at a very rapid clip from the train station to town (about 1.5 miles). Then we arrived and where told the Castle SantAngelo was about 250 stairs. A bunch of us had nothing to do but sit on the curb and wait. We missed out on seeing many of the excellent sites.
It is a BIG hike up to the Acropolis and if you aren't ready for it, don't bother! The trip to Cape Sounion was nice but taking that trip meant that you don't get to see much more in Athens itself. You may want to consider going on your own and getting a car to take you around.
