Great experience of the wilderness and the beauty abound. I loved the helicopter ride to the Mendenhall Glacier where we experience walking on the glacier for about 30 minutes with special boots. An environmentalist spoke to us about the glaciers and animal life. We saw all kinds of animals on the land portion of the tour...a grizzly bear was about 50 yards from out bus at one time and we got wonderful video of him. I think we saw every kind of animal there except a Fox. The cruise portion was great especially in Glacier Bay where we saw walls of ice falling into the sea....wow, what a beautiful sight to behold....God's Country !!!!!!! Denali Park Tour was such an experience and we would highly recommend it. Great vacation....Just be sure to take plenty of warm clothing...cold, cold, cold..

The room and service were excellent. The food was wonderful it had a large selection and choices for any age and plenty of it. The entertainment was great and I really enjoyed the art auctions. The pools and hot tubs were well kept up and the hot tub was not boiling hot like some are. The crew were all excited to help you and make your vacation great. I particularly liked the movie under the stars and they even provided blankets as the nights were a little cool. I want to go on this big baby again sometimes. Had a blast.

New and Old Panama Canal Adventure
Going through the old locks was a great experience. It is amazing how back in 1913 that they were able to build such a detailed and proficient canal with the materials and know how of that period of time. The new locks are totally different and operate in a much different manner. We took the tour to the new locks and it was amazing the difference. In Aruba we did the Atlantis Submarine and totally enjoyed it. Not to compare with the glass bottom boats we have been on in the past. We actually went down 135 feet on the sub and saw old wrecks and a lot of unusual fish. We visited Columbia, Grand Cayman and Costa Rico also which were amazing. We did the trolley city tours to become more familiar so our next trips there we can plan more excursions. I would highly recommend this cruise that was truly a history lesson and great adventure.

I enjoyed all the ports but the best part of the cruise was the "Behind The Fun" tour of the ship. It is amazing how many people are working to make your vacation the best. We had our picture taken with the Captain on the bridge....that was the ultimate....

We chose the anytime dining which allows you to meet new people and share adventures and other cruises they have taken or have planned. Do take a sweater in the dining room and auditorium which were a little cool. Loved the Art Auctions and even bought our first selection of Art..A Thomas Kincaid.
