Carnival Glory

November 2015 - 7 Night Exotic Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Glory

Excellent family vacation cruise

This was an amazing family vacation!!!  The cruise ship was awesome, plenty of entertainment for the whole family and an awesome array of food whenever you were hungry.  So happy with the ship, all of the staff were great, entertainment was a lot of fun for all of us (I have two teenagers, one boy and one girl), and the food was very good!!  I would recommend this cruise for anyone who wants to do some site seeing and water fun; snorkeling, shopping, ruins, beaches, this one has a bit of it all.

Carnival Splendor

Overall our cruise was amazing. Getting on and off the ship went very smoothly each time in port. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our whole cruise from the room, dining, spa, and entertainment.

Cruise tips

Nassau, Bahamas

This was our second visit to this port and the first time did not go well. They are very pushy in this port. If you do not want what they have they will go after your children. When we walked into the port this time there were men literally running at us to get our business. Since we had a bad experience the first time we took an excursion and had a wonderful time. We did end up stopping by Junkanoo Beach for awhile and we just learned how to firmly say NO.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

We took a tendor to get to the island. it was pretty organized on the ship so you did not have to stand in line down the stairs we all waited for our boat in the theatre. The snorkeling was awesome lots of different things could be seen right from the shore. We thought it was very pricey: snorkel set was $20.00 and the stores there were a bit overpriced and we did not shop at all.

Grand Turk Island

This was our first visit here and it was very pleasurable. Everyone in the port area were very nice and not pushy and you could literally just walk off the ship and snorkel. We did get a snorkel set - mask, snorkel, and vest for $10.00. We brought bread to feed the fish which usually goes well but the fish we say were reef eaters and did not have any interest in the bread or crackers at all.
