May 2017 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (New Orleans Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Dream

This was the first cruise for my husband and I. We were not disappointed! The Dream far exceeded our expectations. We done our best to try as many eating places as possible but found out there were way too many to try them all. We did not find any food that we disliked. Now we did have a few favorites but no bad meals. The Steakhouse was by far our favorite and even though it costs extra, it is well worth it. We also splurged for the couples spa pass for the week and really enjoyed using the steam rooms and the Thalasso pool. The cruise director, Chris, did an awesome job and was so funny and full of energy! I don't know when he ever slept, he was so busy all the time. They made sure you never got bored...so many things to do ALL the time. There were so many venues available at any given time to match anyone's likes! Every Carnival employee we encounter was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed on the Empress deck and our stateroom steward, Linda, was the best! She did an amazing job and we never lacked for anything the entire week. We look forward to more cruises with Carnival in the future!!
