Norwegian Breakaway

August 2017 - 7 Night Bermuda (New York Roundtrip) Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

My husband and I were on the cruise to Bermuda for our honeymoon. Had a mini suite on the 10th floor. Room was nice. Minor Rough start on the first day (not enough towels, asked for an iron and had to wait, toilets on deck 10 were out of commission for a few hours, remote for tv didn't work, mattress had mysterious yellow stains on it). Everything was fixed later that night after standing in lines and calling guest services a million times. Dining: we had the 3 dining package upgrade and unlimited drink package. Specialty restaurants - Cagney was the best! The steaks were cooked perfectly and the apps and sides were great! Tried moderno and were very disappointed. The mea was bland and flavorless and they hardly came around with the meat at all. We used a dining package night on this and asked them to refund the meal which they did (we weren't the only ones). Went to the French place le bistro which was really good. My husband didn't like his steak there though. French onion soup was so good. Third meal plan day went to the Italian place ka cucina which was also good. Cagneys is by far the best. Also ate at taste and savor and the Mahattan room (all good). The buffet was ok just always crowded. O'Sheahans was also a favorite of ours. All in all the food was good. Shows: best by far was rock of ages. If you grew up in the 80s you will live it. (Do not being kids though there are some sexual and drug references). The Magic show is a must see also it was hysterical! Burn te floor was good. Cirque de solei was ok not the best. Comedy club improv night and howl at the moon were good. We got the Internet package so we could FaceTime our kids and it barely worked. We ended up asking for some money back on it. And they did it. It was a good trip. They ended up sending us a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries to our room for our troubles. If our not happy let them know and they will fix it! If your going to Bermuda figure out what you want to do before you get there. We winged it and I wish we had planned it a little better.
