Review summary

Wife trip in a doorway and broke her hip the first night. Off loaded in Kiel Germany by ambulance the next day. Surgery and a week of recuperation in order to fly back to US. Worst vacation of our lives.

My biggest fear but at least you were in a country with first class medicine and hope you had great insurance and recovery going well. We use Allianz and always cover pre existing conditions. A bad ankle bister prevented me from joining a cruise in Barcelona once and they paid for everything with no upfront payment from us :hospitalization, medicine, transport, exchanged our economy tickets for business- the beds per the Spanish doctor 's recommendations so I could rest well.
