Our daughters first cruise

Sail Date: April 01, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

The Zenith is an old ship and it is showing its age. This was our third cruise and the first for our daughter on Celebrity. The Zenith was the smallest and oldest ship we have been on.

The crew did an excellent job in providing some needed extras. We had our 2 1/2 old daughter with use, so we needed some help.

Our cabin attendent made sure we had extra towels as we went through them quickly and took care of all our needs as they came up.. The dinning staff went out of their way in making sure we had a highchair every night. We asked for different items for our daughter to eat and the next thing you know it was there. They went above and beyond in helping us.

Even though the ship had gone through a minor makeover last year it still needs more upgrading. Carperts are showing wear throughout the ship and the cabin bathrooms need to be redone. The ship many not have many years left in Celebrity's fleet, time will tell.

If you like to sail on a smaller ship, the Zenith maybe for you. If you want a bigger and better ship with lots of open public space, then try one of their other ships.

Pros: Easy to get around

Cons: Ship is old
