Very enjoyable, relaxing

Sail Date: May 06, 2006

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Zenith was adequate, but small compared to others we have sailed on. Rough seas which we experienced one day were upsetting, and were a direct result of the lack of stabilizers, although the Captain responded by slowing down the ship, which was helpful.

Pros: Leaving from nearby Bayonne, NJ

Cons: Food

Ship Quality
Ship was too small for our liking. Beginning to show signs of its age. Very clean. Public areas in good condition, average decor. good accessibility.
Food and Dining
Unimaginative menu. Overall, food was average in quality, nothing outstanding. Eggs were overcooked. Late dining at 8:30pm was too late, especially when entertainment was scheduled after dinner. No ambiance.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom showing signs of age, but very clean. Lack of a comfortable chair. Bed linens old and shabby. Towels very clean, adequate size and changed often. Location convenient.
Service and Staff
Staff very friendly, cordial, helpful. Filled every need with a smile. Never intrusive, but always available.
Lots of "fun" activities onboard. Excellent entertainment. Highly talented performers. Shows always on time. Well stocked and comfortable library. Adequate casino, but too smoky for non-smokers. We were especially pleased to find clergy on board with religious services (Mass)scheduled.
St. George's, Bermuda
Very beautiful!! Crystal Caves was magnificent to see. Enjoyed a day at the beach. Did not visit restaurants.
Don't Miss: Crystal Caves
Hamilton, Bermuda
Enjoyed tour of area. Very beautiful!! Shore excursions were filled too quickly for us to take part. Did not visit restaurants. Shops in town closed too early.
