We had a great time

Room Type: Suite

This was our first cruise. The Zenith is obviously not a brand new ship, but the ship was clean and well maintained. We were absolutely stunned about the boarding process. We expected to wait in line for a couple of hours and we were on board within ten minutes of arriving at the pier.
The food was almost always very good. We participated in karoke, gambled in the casino, caught a couple of the shows and in general had a very good time.
We went ashore at Grand Cayman and we were impressed with the way they got everyone on and off the ship in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our Rays, Reef and Rum tour, we felt safe and unhurried. They allowed us plenty of time to reboard the ship.
We were on the cruise with a lot of college students on spring break. You couldn't even see the pool, much less use it unless you did it very early in the day. The college students were rowdy, but they were also polite and relatively well-behaved.
The greatest shock was coming home. There was no one to feed us and we had to do the dishes!
All in all, a wonderful time and we will try cruising again.

Pros: We loved the service, the pampering, and the ability to choose whatever we wanted to do from a huge variety of options.

Cons: We didn't like the way we were notified of customs clearance times. It would have been nice to have a sheet in the room telling us of what we were required to do on each day at the beginning of the cruise.

Food and Dining
We dined at the 6:00 pm dinner. We ate in the main dining room all but one night and the food was always very good. We tended to eat in the more casual buffet for breakfast and lunch. We liked having meals by the pool. We had pizza and sushi one night and that meal was not up to the normal standards of the rest of the food.
Service and Staff
Everyone was helpful and very willing to help with anything we needed.
Ship Quality
There was plenty of space on the ship. You could be around people near the pool, or find an isolated bar to be by yourself. We liked our stateroom but we didn't spend very much time in it.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our stateroom was clean, quiet and comfortable. We especially liked the jetted tub in our suite.
There was so much to do, it was a lot of fun. We didn't anticipate participating in as many activities as we did, but we thoroughly enjoyed the shows, gambling, and the excursions.
George Town, Grand Cayman
The rays, reef and rum tour was a blast. I would have traded a little more time snorkeling for a litte less time at Rum Point, but it was well worth the time and money.
Don't Miss: Rays, reef and rum tour
Key West, Florida
We didn't participate in any organized activity, we just enjoyed wandering around.
Don't Miss: Have a piece of pie at the key lime pie factory. The hogsbreath saloon is also fun.
