Review summary

Food was fair. Best meal was breakfast at Windjammers each day. Most other food was too spicy or too salty. Overall, this cruise was 3x what we pay on Carnival or MSC.

Nice cabin. Central Park view was ok, but overpriced.

Make MDR reservations early. It was difficult to get anything before 8 or 9pm.

In my opinion the buffet is not as good as pre covid-19 times, and the prices especially on the larger ships are inflated in my opinion. Sometimes I think that the older and smaller ships as well as inside statesrooms are more of a bargain. With the trade off being that they can be more prone to needing more maintenance in my view.

Was on Wonder last month, fantastic cruise!!! can't go wrong with Oasis class. We love central park cabins. You can have a great time at Cococay without spending any money.

Sounds like you need to stick to the cheap cruise line, Carnival. You also went in one of the newest ships so prices would be higher. To each their own, but I would choose Royal over Carnival everyday!
