Go to the Gallery Bar and meet Roland, Gin and Lou. They will make your trip memorable.
Be respectful and friendly towards all the staff and treat them like family.
Book the Rudi Sel De Mer pop up in the Pinnacle Grill. I regret having bought the Elite Beverage package as the better (only 2) white wines by the glass were only available in the main dining room and pinnacle grill, not at the other bars, and no bar tender outside the pinnacle grill offered to get them for me.
You don’t need to pack as much clothes as
Enjoy the crows nest, relax on comfy chairs and watch for whales....and go wherever the naturalist is speaking ( usually outside on deck 10)!
Hold your nose, the ship smells terrible
be prepared for heavy sales pitch before and after your spa services
Go to the bow on deck 4 to see the glaciers at Glacier Bay.
Decorate the door. It will help you find it.
Take the time to walk through the ship and see all the art objects.
Laid back casual environment. If your looking for a crazy party crowd, go somewhere else.
If you enjoy seeing and hearing about the local wildlife, don't miss the opportunities with the naturalist on the observation deck everyday.
Pack less and use the $49 laundry. We sent laundry out every evening and had it back by the following afternoon.
leave 1/2 of your clothes at home
Very little swaying -- minimal problems with motion sickness/queasiness.
Don't bring so much. They have great laundry service for 20.00. all you can fit in the bag
If sailing out of Canada Place in Vancouver going to the port around 1:30 will get you through much quicker. If you are ok with waiting for your food the dining room has a great breakfast.
mid-ship stateroom seems to be best for easy access to everything and the least motion.
Five days at sea is too much. If you’re visiting Hawaii, fly over there and cruise around the islands.
