We paid a lot for a verandah suite and got a view of the lifeboats (other cruise lines tucked their life boats out of view) - verandah was quite small too. Food in the dining room was hot on only 2 of the 20 days. Shore excursion maps were ridiculous and hard to navigate. Planned surprise birthday party for wife in port of call which was cancelled with little notice and we were at sea that day while friends we planned to meet were at party we paid for but couldn't enjoy. Misinformed about costs of laundry and internet (expensive is too gentle a term - usurious much better).

Pros: Friendly Staff, Good Food in Lido, Great Ports of Call

Cons: The Balcony View, Internet Costs, Shore Excursion Info

Recommends Westerdam? No.
