Great Rock and Roll Cruise

Sail Date: March 03, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is a very beautiful ship and has many amenities that other ships do not have. Our room, although just an oceanview room, was surpriseingly spacious in comparison to our last cruise with another line. It took us pretty much the whole week to explore the ship and there were places we still never went to. The staff was very professional, but still fun! Everyone went out of their way to make our trip as enjoyable as we had expectations! My husband has always said he wouldn't go on a crusie and after the first one I convinced him to go on didn't go that great, it was difficult to convince him to try again. Even though we had almost 4 terrible days of rough seas, he still enjoyed himself and I believe I will be able to coax him into trying another cruise next year!!! Thanks for a great fun and relaxing time!

Pros: The activities

Cons: The rocking ship

Recommends Voyager of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
We found the food quite excellent in the dining room. There was always many choices for even picky eaters. We really enjoyed the folks we sat with at the dinner each night, also. The food in the Windjammer was so so. We ate breakfast and lunch as often as we could in the dining room because we love to be waited on.
Cabin / Stateroom
We found the room very well decorated, clean and the amenities good. Our stateroom attendant couldn't do enough for us. Although we didn't spend a lot of time in the room, it was very comfortable when we did.
Service and Staff
The staff is tops!!! We especially enjoyed our head waiter and the staff in the schooner bar. They all helped to make our trip GREAT!
We found ourselves always on the go attending many of the activities when on board and enjoyed the variety.
Ship Quality
We loved the size of the ship and the layout was also great. It was easy to find your way around with all the maps and pictures of the ship in many convienient places to tell you where you were and show you where you wanted to go.
