A Fun Trip

Room Type: Balcony

We took my parents on their first cruise this time and they had an excellent experience. The check in and boarding was a breeze! Our room was ready, but a few things were overlooked: dirty glasses and wine bottle in a cabinet, empty fridge, and a leftover bottle of open booze in the closet. The TV Menu did not work well at all (to access bill and book excursions). The ship, overall, was very clean. Service was good. The spa was very nice. Dining room food was great! This was the first time that we tendered to a destination and I did not really care for that process. Very time consuming! The private isalnd was fun and relaxing! Also, in Cozumel another ship docked on the other side of the pier right after we arrived and this delayed our departure quite a bit. Time in the ports could have been longer! LESSON LEARNED: never take a magnetic wallet or purse along because it will deactivate your room key! What a headache! But, the cruise staff was easily accessable to replace out keys at any hour! The entertainment was great as well!

Pros: Food

Cons: spring break guests

Recommends Voyager of the Seas? Yes!
