Voyager of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Review SummaryMy husband and I took a 7 nts cruise from Mar 25 to Apr 1 06. It was our 4th cruise, the first with Royal Caribbean.
Embarkation was well orgainzed. Miami Terminal was bright and very clean; much better than New York and Galveston from where we sailed before. The moment we got on the V of the Seas, we fell in love with it right away - it was the biggest and most beautiful ship we'd been on.
The dining room was all but elegant. The food was great, and service excellent.
Our stateroom overlooked on the Promenade which was always full of live.
Shopping was a great - the best so far experienced, in terms of varieity and quality.
The shows were up to our expectation. The music and singing at the Cleopatra's Needle was not up to the standard offered by other cruises.
We loved the call at Labadee despite the weather - no sunshine. We enjoyed most the lunch on the island - felt so different than those on the ship.
The flea market was not liked by many as the store keepers were so pushy that they scared people away from really trying to see what was there.
We enjoyed other ports too. The tender arrangements for Cozmel did require improvements as there were lots of complaints about the long wait.
As it was Spring break, lot of kids and teens were on board. Not a problem with those whose parents cared. But unfortunately it seemed a lot of the parents or gardians were not always aware what the youngsters they brought were doing or even where they were.
We would love to go on another cruise with Royal Caribbean but definitely not during school holidays.
Pros: The ship was elegant
Cons: Many youngsters were not behaving themselves
