We just returned from 7 heavenly days on board the Voyager of the Seas. We had great weather and the ship has lots to offer. If you were bored, it was your own fault! The stateroom we had was lovely. We had a room with a balcony, which we really enjoyed! Our cabin attendant was just great. The service in general was really very good! The main dining room on board is lovely...3 stories tall! Words will not adequately describe it! The food was very good, especially the delicious soups. We also enjoyed the Johnny Rockets restaurant that is on board. We were dissappointed that we were unable to eat in the Portofino restaurant- an Italian restaurant on board. We tried to get reservations and they had a waiting list of 200 people. They need to reconsider either the hours of operation or rethink another way of accommodating the pasengers that would like to try this experience. We had an opportunity to enjoy many of the ship's ammenities. We played 9 holes of miniature golf, we enjoyed a show in the La Scala theatre, and we visited the spa and beauty salon area. We watched other brave folks rock climb, while we enjoyed a delicious mango beverage!!!! There were a few good bands that played near the pool area, and the Vault night club kept things really hopping. We also went to listen to a good jazz pianist. The Karaoke nights were really funny! My biggest complaint is that many of the public areas allow smoking which sometimes made it uncomfortable for the non smokers. The ship also houses some great artwork and a 2 story library. The casino is large and yes, you can win! We went on several of the optional tours that were offered. We really loved the catamaran snorkling tour in Cozumel.
