Amidst a lot of criticism I have read, we have just completed a glorious vacation onboard the Voyager. Embarkation and Debarkation went super smoothly. The itinerary is medium to good, but it did not matter to us. The ship is a wonder, the rock climbing wall awesome, the ice skating performances right up there with Ice Capades shows. The ships company of singers and dancers were flawless, a breath of fresh air after the Galaxy last year. John Davidson was the headliner one night and gave a new take on his versatility. Our Carmen dining room was exquisite as was the chandelier that decorated all three dining rooms. Johnny Rockets was a food and entertainment blast, the food complimentary except for the malts @$3.60, it was worth it, especially when the wait staff broke into 50's song and dance. The alternate Portofino dining room, which we used twice was elegant, and we were treated like royalty. The art on the ship is worthy of an hour of your time to take it all in. Food, mostly excellent in the main dining room, Windjammer and Island Grill merely ordinary, but anyone could have found something to please them. Wait staff excellent as was the room steward staff. The cashiers in the casino, unfriendly, but the machines were paying. I know this has jumped all over the place, but we highly recommend you trying the Voyager. Must mention the Promenade, an outstanding idea someone had.
