Great price through

Sail Date: August 16, 2009

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was beautiful. Staff was excellent. They were very attentive and gave good advice on what to do at the different ports.

Pros: Capri was great. Take the ferry from Naples and rent a boat to view the whole island

Cons: VERY HOT during August (100-106degrees F) everyday! Also, Barcelona was on "Holiday" which = Ghost-town

Recommends Voyager of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
There was only one specialty restaurant and one Johnny Rockets (both of which you had to pay extra for). The main dining room was very nice though- we ate there 6 nights out of 7

Naples, Italy
Take the ferry to Capri and rent a boat there. Beautiful!
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Went wine tasting in Tuscany- just ok. We should have taken the shuttle to Pisa and Florence on our own.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
Taking a tour will save you time by not having to wait on long lines.
Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France
Took the bus to Nice and went shopping on our own. It cost 1 Euro for the bus and was very easy to get there then you have the whole day to yourself! Nice was very pretty.
