Get a porter at the port! Check in was a breeze! Parking was close and easy. Quick in and out, even with customs!

This ship provides a bar of soap in the bathroom but no shampoo, conditioner or lotion, so be sure to bring some - it's about $14 to buy it in the gift shop! Taking your luggage off with you upon debarkation is so much easier than letting them take it. No hassles trying to find it!

I recommend flying in the day before the ship leaves. Made the departure day so much better.

Take lots of small bills into each port, as tips are customary and expected EVERYWHERE, incl bathrooms. Take extension cords, plan to use a device as a clock and know that the safe will only fit wallet/ passport sized items, not tablets! Take a carry on with necessities until luggage arrives.

Bring a surge protector! The extra plugs helped a ton when we were getting ready for dinner.... hair dryer, strightener, phone charger and Music all playing at once! Bring some Dramamine,.. you never think youll get sick until you do but that didnt hold me back.

Enjoy the trivia and other crew activities. They were a lot of fun. You can carry your own luggage off and that will allow you to disembark around 7:30 and not have to worry about packing something you might need the next morning.

If you carry your own bags, you can disembark any time between 6 and 8 am. Try to get my time dining.

The solarium aft on deck 9 is a quiet, relaxing place. It has the Park Cafe, which we preferred to eat at rather than fighting crowds at the Windjammer Cafe.
