Review summary

Overall, disappointing; will never cruise again on Vision of the Seas. Don't think we'll do a Caribbean cruise again; Mediterranean cruise on Jewel of the Seas last year was great; no issues there.

Overall, staff was friendly and helpful. Our dining room servers are fabulous as well as out stateroom attendant.

Old ship; needs to be updated.

Noisy air conditioning and other loud noises especially at night, bathroom shower curtain kept falling off. Stateroom attendant did everything possible to resolve issues; she was very helpful and did keep room spotless.

This port was added as Costa Rica port was canceled; very disappointing as this was one of the reasons we booked cruise. We had booked an excursion via Cheap Caribbean; ship was given authorization to anchor at 9am which was the time of our tour. When we left tender at approximately 9:25am, there was no one there. We were told they had left; called local representative and was told we should try to join another excursion as they could not return for us. They were 10 people, including our group of four, who were left behind.

Did not have a chance to have breakfast as they wanted the self-assist passengers, those handling thir own luggage to be out by 8am. Crew was making passengers carry luggage down stairs or wait on long lines by elevators. Disorganized depature!
