We were very pleased with our Royal Caribbean cruise to Kotor, Montenegro, Athens, and three Greek islands. Our ship, Vision of the Seas (capacity about 2750) is about the right size for us. Food service was excellent. We ate in the dining room every evening. Staff was well organized to handle such tasks as tendering, shore excursions, embarking and leaving the ship. Wife pleased with cleanliness of ship. Entertainment a bit slack - they even had the captain singing rock songs in place of paid entertainer! Still, it is a highly-recommended adventure.

Cabin / Stateroom
Sure, a balcony may be nice, but we enjoyed sitting on deck and conversing with others. The darkness of our cabin when the lights were out promoted peaceful sleep.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions Pricey! We met a couple who told my wife what I had been saying all along - seek out tours when you get on shore and save a bundle.

The solarium aft on deck 9 is a quiet, relaxing place. It has the Park Cafe, which we preferred to eat at rather than fighting crowds at the Windjammer Cafe.
