Review summary

We have sailed over 25 times with RCCL. This was our first bad experience. The food was not as good as usual. As a matter of fact, some meals were bad. Our cabin was not kept to the high standards we are used to either. Kids seemed to take over the dance floor each night and that made it hard for anyone to dance. On a happy note, the entire staff and crew were very nice and kept us laughing the entire time. We dined at Chops and Izumi and both restaurants were top notch. We are staying loyal to Royal, and hope this was a one time experience.

Not up to usual standards. Our glasses were left dirty with liquid in them and just covered rather than being replaced. When we removed our luggage from under the bed it was full of hair. Guess they don't vacuum under the beds. On a personal note: we left some valuable items on the top shelf of the stand up closet and they were never turned in. Wish someone would have checked up there as I myself missed it.

Ship tip

Enjoy the trivia and other crew activities. They were a lot of fun. You can carry your own luggage off and that will allow you to disembark around 7:30 and not have to worry about packing something you might need the next morning.
