Nice but somewhat lacking

Sail Date: December 10, 2015

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

It is always nice to cruise.  This time it was disappointing though.  Room was not as clean as it should be.  The drawers were not wiped clean after the previous guest. The carpet needed a good vacuuming.  The mirrors were dirty.  The bed could not be separated due to the large couch in the room.

We ate at the Wind Jammer for all our meals as we were given the 8:00pm seating in the dining room.  I did request the anytime dining.
The internet service was way too expensive.  I think a smaller window of time and a smaller price would have more people using it.

Cabin / Stateroom
Cabin was crowded. Had a very large couch in it. Bed was hard to get around especially at night. isle way was very narrow. My husband stubbed his toes two or three times.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Embarkation was the worst. Stood for hours and no one was able to relay problems they were having with the computers. The night before our disembarkation we received a letter saying since we elected to pay cash to come to the front desk. We didn't opt for that we had our credit cards registered. Long story short. we had to register our cards again! Where did our card registry from embarkation go? Also had issue with the liquor that we purchased on board. It was not delivered to the room the night before. We called the front desk who told us to go pick it up at he shop ourselves. when we went the clerk accused us of trying to get more that what we paid for. I promise you this was not the case. I was humiliated in front of other guests.
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Some ports were not long enough to see everything
Onboard Activities
The crew participated in a lot more than I had seen in the past
Have seen better. The only two we really liked were the comedian and the ventriloquist.
Service and Staff
Dining and cabin stewards were great
Food and Dining
Food OK; not hot!
Key West, Florida
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
Not a lot to do if you are not a sun worshiper. Excursions were expensive.

This ship is in good shape for its age. The public areas are very well kept. Shore excursions are extremely expensive. Most of the staff is pleasant and always accommodating.
