Small Ship with lots to do

Sail Date: November 30, 2015

Reviewed: 11 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Just completed a 10 day cruise on the Vision of the Seas. If you like smaller ships and looking for a lot of fun this is the ship for you. Everything was almost perfect. There was always something to do.

Cabin / Stateroom
Clean, comfortable but who wants to spend time in a cabin when there is so much fun out there.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
easy on easy off not bad when they are moving a couple thousand people.
Ship Quality
Everything was clean and well maintained.
Destinations and Excursions
Although we have been to all these places before they are still interesting to revisit. I always suggest a guided tour if it is your first time in a place. Play it safe and pay a little extra and use the ships tours unless you know your way around.
Onboard Activities
Lots to do. You can be as busy as you want or find nice quite areas for down time.
Entertainment
We don't go to the shows but if you are into music and dancing this ship is for you.
Service and Staff
The best staff we have had, ever.
Food and Dining
We had all our meals in the Windjammer. Food was good, not great but plenty to choose from. Great staff in the Windjammer. We don't like to tie up a couple of hours for meals so we avoided the main dining room.
Key West, Florida
Always a fun place just to walk around and shop
Kralendijk, Bonaire
very safe to take a private tour
Willemstad, Curacao
Fun and colorful. take a trip around the island
Oranjestad, Aruba
Great beaches
George Town, Grand Cayman

Tip

The Vision is a smaller ship. There is lots to do. It's not perfect, but you are on vacation so don't bring your grouchy pants with you. Relax and enjoy the cruise vacation. If you want thrills book a larger ship. The Vision is all about relaxing.
