Still a beautiful ship

Sail Date: July 01, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

We sailed on the Vision of the Seas in 1999 when it was less than a year old. It was beautiful then and still is.
The staff was very friendly.
Had some problems with our toilet not flushing\, but maintenance came quickly and fixed it.

Pros: I liked that it is a smaller ship. You could walk outside on the 5th deck.

Cons: Long lines at shore excursions desk (they had limited hours) and sometimes at guest services.

Recommends Vision of the Seas? Yes!

The professional dancers were pretty bad. The singers very average. There was a Russian folk dance show that seemed very good but it was SRO for us.
Service and Staff
Oksana\, our waitress in the Schooner Bar became a family friend. All the servers and the bar tenders in the Schooner Bar were friendly.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a room for three so it was a bit cramped\, but the room was very much like any other stateroom.
