No choice. We want to see at least 2 Ireland ports and this is one of the few ships that offer Ireland ports. Royal Caribbean has the good reputation, good brand name and has the best value and lowest price for a 10 day cruise with at least 2 Ireland ports.

Impeccable dining and stateroom service. Dining waiters/waitresses, bus boys/girls, and room stewards are very helpful, ascertain what the customers want, and most of the time polite & respectful.

Rock climbing wall, fitness facilities, and indoor pool & Jacuzzi, steam & sauna, and fitness room are great for fitness enthusiasts in this ship.

Entertainment is average. We expect there will be some sort of Broadway shows like "Cirque De Soleil". In Royal Caribbean's ad, they overrate the entertainment but they don't offer any Broadway shows in this Vision of the Seas British Isles cruise.
The entertainment staff are there to please though.
Our only qualms, The young dancers and some non-entertainment employees in this cruise always crash the passengers events especially the Karaoke and night time dancing at the Viking Lounge 11th floor. The question/s to Royal Caribbean top executives, Is in it the entertainment and non-entertainment employees are not supposed to be in the areas AND participate in the events where the passengers are congregating? They are only suppose to serve the passengers and not participate correct (exception when they are hosting and teaching and facilitating the events)? We know for a fact that there is an entertainment and dining areas for cruise employees on Deck 1.

We love the ethnic and cultural diversity in this ship. Cruise employees and passengers at least represent 60 countries. We met a lot of people from all walks of life and most of them are really friendly.

Few things that we also don't like: You have to pay $150 USD for the ship tour including the Captain's area.. Most other cruise lines don't do that. They charge $34 USD plus auto 15% gratuity if you want to

Pros: 2 Ireland ports seeing 4 countries (Denmark, Scotland, Ireland, England) in 10 nights 10 days of crusing with 3 fabulous "At sea" days.

Cons: Crusie DVD Video not available because the computer system crashed. The videographers and editors should at least conduct hourly backups after each hour of editing. Thus, passengers of this ship cannot buy the DVD Cruise Video.
