Imagine having an excellent international crew and staff treat you as though you are royalty; lounging in absolute comfort and surrounded by beautiful paintings and plants; savoring a variety of specialty foods and enjoying exciting and colorful shows, in addition to thrilling ports of call. All of this greeted us as we boarded the Vision of the Seas for a holiday cruise to the Mexican Riviera in December. Our state room was ample for the three of us, and included quality beds for our comfort, a full bath and extra amenities for our relaxation. The two-tiered dining room burst with personality and atmosphere; sampling the marvelous assortment of international cuisine was a treat every night. Walkiing through the extensive marketplace buffet was bewildering -- there was so much from which to choose. One surprise after another beckoned to us in the nightclubs and bars; full Broadway productions, comedians, jugglers and magicians amused the packed theaters nightly. Sipping a glass of champagne while bidding on breathtaking works of art was delightful. And, of course, the assistance and courtesy afforded us by the staff were appreciated.
Pros: The splendid spa area created a soothing and relaxing atmosphere, which we all enjoyed to the fullest.
Cons: I didn't hit a big jackpot in the casino!
