This was our fourth cruise and the second on RCI. Two days before leaving, we were excited to learn that we were upgraded from a C cabin to the owner's suite A cabin. The cabin was beautiful.Almost every morning, I went out on the balcony and talked to the captain. Because of the cabin, we had room service deliver breakfast to us every morning. We had lunch and dinner in the dining room each evening and the food was great. The staff was great and couldn't do enough for you. It was wonderful sitting on the balcony and watching the whales swimming around. Everytime the captain saw a whale he would make an announcement. One day he lowered a rescue boat and had a piece of a glacier brought on the ship for us to see. Imagine! This is a beautiful ship and very easy to negotiate. There was always a lot to do onboard which kept us busy. The outside pool temperature was 89 and the inside pool temperature was 86. The shows were very good. We missed Skagway due to the weather and the captain declared open bar onboard! We had a great time at the other ports. Getting on and off the ship was fast and smooth. Even our 18-year-old son had a great time. We had such a good time we booked another cruise on the Vision for August 2003. Do yourself a favor and stay in Vancouver a few days before or after the cruise. The city is so beautiful and with the US to CA exchange rate it makes for a wonderful vacation.
