Sail Date: October 01, 2009
Ship: Vision of the Seas
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (older children)

The stateroom was neat and efficient, but a little dated. The ship's food and entertainment were awesome, and we really liked working out at the gym. The heat of the sauna and hot tubs were too low, which was unfortunate. The theater was beautiful, and our service top notch.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food in both the Aquarius and Windjammer were fabulous, and the service was outstanding. The only rating decrease came when we contracted food poisoning (suspect hot dog) from the Solarium poolside.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Needed better teen activities/environment. A bigger dance floor, and "mocktails" would have been better than what's there. Overall, ok.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our stateroom attendant Marley was "the best" we could hope for. The only downer was the rudeness of 2 of the spa staff - namely Randall and Rebecca.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was mid-size, which made it easy to navigate. All areas were clean, and the decor outside of the cabin areas were great.

Cabin / Stateroom

Pros: Ship food and activities/entertainment

Cons: The port sites/food poisoning
