A really fun trip!

Sail Date: November 18, 2007

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

This was our first cruise and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly, the food was good and plentiful, and the activities were a lot of fun. It was fun to "come home" each evening to a different towel animal.

Pros: The friendliness of the employees

Cons: The smallness of the shower

Recommends Vision of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
It was a little small, especially the bathroom, but it is understandable. Our porter was wonderful in keeping it comfortable for us.
Service and Staff
The dinner staff went well beyond what I would have expected, they were WONDERFUL!
Ship Quality
Everything was always very clean.
Entertainment
We didn't do a lot of the activities, but the ones we did were fun and well-instructed. Unfortunately my 16-year old was too shy to join in the teen center, but it sure looked like the kids were having a great time and were well entertained.
Food and Dining
The dinner wait staff was great, always ready with a refill and generous with the extra desserts :) The Windjammer had good food, and plenty of it (except for the peanut butter) but it was hard to get someone's attention for drinks.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Lover's Beach was nice. The only disappointment was the boats in the swimming area. It wasn't big enough for the swimmers and the boats, so we all inhaled a bit of gas fumes. The Pacific side was much better, although the water was a little rough.
Mazatlan, Mexico

Don't Miss: Stone Island
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
We enjoyed Puerto Vallarta the best. The beach near the dock was excellent. The only restaurant we went to was Senior Frogs (we had to take a taxi to get there) and it was a lot of fun. It had music, dancing, balloon hats, pictures with sombreros, and a fun staff.
Don't Miss: You can't miss the Canapy tour! It was the best part of our trip.
