The Viking Sky was too small for the number of passengers. In the everyday briefings there was no room in the cocktail lounge. As mentioned above\, we practically had no use of the deck because it had to be closed due to the crossing through the locks. This rendered the scenic value of the cruise completely impaired. In our opinion\, the quality of the ship was poor and there is no justification in the price they were charging for this cruise.

Service and Staff

They were all excellent.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Since we have to experience the lock workers strike\, we were too many times and for a long time docked alongside other cruise ships. Another minus in the scenic value of the cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
The size of our cabin was rather small.

Pros: The staff of the cruise was all excellent

Cons: There was no opportunity for the scenic views on deck\, due not only because there was a lock workers strike\, but because of the locks it-selves\, the deck was completely useless\, there was no room at the cocktail lounge to enjoy the scenic views.

Recommends Viking Sky (RETIRED)? No.
