Viking Seine November 08

Sail Date: November 01, 2008

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We got a pretty good deal on the cruise, because it was very late in the season. The weather was cold and rainy, so touring was a little challenged.

The service was good, the food was only fair. Nice staff but they didn't fall all over you like some ships.

The entire ship needs to be refurbished, carpet was bare in places in the common areas. Our bathroom curtain was moldy and the entire cabin and bath just seemed very dingy and musty smelling.

Not much to do when you were out on the water, the ship had a piano player, he was good, but after 7 days, it gets old.

Pros: The places we visited

Cons: Ship was very tired looking, needed new carpet, bathrooms needed to be refreshed

Recommends Viking Seine (RETIRED)? Yes!
