This was a magnificent tour! The attention to detail with Viking is what always makes it the BEST. This was not our first..and nor will it be our last..already trying to decide where next?!!

Lovely ship and staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller sized ship with excellent food and excursions offered.

We very much loved this cruise! The one major disappointment (Knossos closed) was overshadowed by the rest of the cruise, and any issues (noisy room, premium liquor package availability at all bars were dealt with to our satisfaction). Thank you VIKING!

Best ocean cruise we have ever taken. Viking provides an unbelievable vacation experience like no other cruise line I have been on. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and on-board personnel and the excellent job they do handling all of their passengers. The only real complaint I have is that my wife and I are retired and have many options available to us when we want to take a vacation. This is the second time we booked a Viking cruise on our wedding anniversary to celebrate, and the second time Viking forgot or did not make special arrangements for us. We booked the Viking Sea to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary and made arrangements with Viking for a celebration at the Chef's Table on the 22nd of April. I confirmed this booking and celebration 6 weeks, 4 week and 2 weeks before we sailed. But the night we arrived on the 22nd of April at the Chef's I the Maitre D' it was our anniversary, but alas no recognition, no celebration no nothing. Very, Very embarrassed and disappointed that Viking made no effort to help us celebrate.

Outstanding ! Cabin service, meals were all excellent, DJ's and all entertainment was great.

Very covid safe. Would like more activities on board. Would like trivia and afternoon tea at different times so I can attend both. Dominica rowboat tour was the most fantastic shore excursion.

If we hadn't been homesick and it was near Christmas-time, I believe I could've stayed another week. Seriously, the BEST vacation we've ever taken. I highly recommend!

Viking did a great job restarting service. A few hiccups occurred, one excursion for wine tasting was AWFUL. Horrible wine choice 2 of three.

Viking Ocean cruises are operating smoothly...in spite of COVID19. Malta and the Greek Isles provided a fascinating glimpse into ancient history. The tour guides were exceptional. Highly recommended.

This was a "bucket list" cruise. I don't expect that folks who have not already traveled significantly would want to do the Amazon but we found it interesting. Brazil has not maintained the Portuguese history they were left. Failure of the natural rubber industry caused loss of significant wealth. Brazilian cities are dirty and crime infested. The West Indies islands were a big boost after Brazil. Some of the islands we visited were a bit off the beaten path and were beautiful. Overall, an interesting 22 days and a great finish on a 5 star cruise ship.

The Viking Ocean ships are heaven. Very beautiful, great service, lots of choice in restaurants, all included in the basic price so no "extras", and all of the food terrific. Many of our island tours were really great - Viking always seems to get the best guides available and offers a wide variety of onshore activities. We especially loved the gardens, and much preferred the self-governing Islands where the people seemed really proud of their island and generally appeared well informed, exuberant and happy. Less enthusiastic about the "resort" islands - like St Martins, Antigua or St Thomas.

Picturesque cruise. Perfect weather and smooth sailing. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to visit so many of the islands as it would be difficult to choose which "one" to go back to.

Enjoyable, but not as good as we expected. We have heard so much about Viking and I guess we expected more. If you are active and want something better I would suggest a Regent Cruise. Much better selection of included and extra cost tours, and quality all the way around. The basic short bus tours Viking includes were disappointing. Limited choice and not that great add on tours were also not great. I know they cost more, but you also get a lot more on Regent. Great entertainment, great food. Even a great buffet! We will do future Viking cruises if the Itinerary is perfect, but we know to lower our expectations and plan to coordinate some independent tours like some others did on our cruise. On the good side, the service staff were in general, excellent! Very few were just OK. Best service staff we have ever experienced on a cruise!

Great cruise with lots of extra value for the extra money above what other lines offer on essentially the same itinerary. Very hard to beat the Viking format with headsets for all for walking tours and almost perfect organization of excursion gatherings and departures, wine at lunch and dinner, and almost all services on ship included.

The worst thing was the food at the world café, to me the taste was no existent variety was poor.

This cruise accomplished our goal of sampling the Caribbean islands. Most were small and there wasn't a lot to do if you weren't on an excursion. We had a nice time but not as good as Viking Homelands.

Great ship and excellent food in restaurant and world cafe. Service lacking in all dining venues. Better than expected entertainment. Never felt crowded on ship and as usual on Viking extremely nice guests.

It was never our intention to leave the ship. We have cruised the Caribbean with friends on a chartered catamaran. "Been there!"This was planned to be a truly relaxing vacation without the need to get up, get off and go on a tour. We had all we needed and more when everyone else was off exploring and we were'nt alone. There were several other very able bodied couples who did exactly as we did. Living in rain soaked OR, the sun and warmth was just what we required to refresh and replenish.

Guess I was a bit disappointed when comparing the cost of a Viking cruise compared to other cruise lines. Service other than the dining room is second to none!

We have always wanted to see the New England fall colors, we choose this cruise line mainly because it was so highly rated by CruiseCritics. Our disappointment was two-fold. First, we did not see much fall color on our trip. In most places we visited, we were told the fall color is very late this year. Secondly, on the Viking line itself, while the ship and stateroom were top of the line, the free cruise tours left much to be desired. Value wise, we did not feel Viking delivered.
