Review summary

Beautiful new ship! We sailed the Iconic Western Mediterranean cruise on the Viking Jupiter from 23 Feb 2019 through 2 March 2019. The ship is brand new, with this cruise only its third cruise. Everything is well laid out, the public spaces are immense and beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the crew top-notch. We absolutely loved not being photographed every time we turned around, not having to pay for drinks at dinner or lunch, and not standing in line every time we went anywhere. We were on the ship in about ten minutes (we walked in, checked in, and went to the ship). There were zero lines. We were in the least expensive cabin category, as this was our first time on Viking, but we never ever felt lesser-than. I cannot day enough wonderful things about the cruise, the excursions, or the people. It was the best cruise we’ve had so far, and it was our 15th.

We are going on Viking Cruise line for the first time this November, Barcelona to Buenos Aires on the Jupiter. What can you tell us about life onboard, we usually travel Holland America. Food, entertainment, life generally onboard, Oh! My wife asked is there Trivia! We are really looking forward to the cruise and like you we are in the cheapest stateroom, it’s still our most expensive cruise........but twenty one days. Yea! June/Keith
