Review summary

This cruise was clearly targeted at older and disabled people. We spent quite a bit of time on our own balcony when not in port as there was not much of interest to do in sea days. Evening entertainment was excellent though.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent. Well organised and a real plus for cruise holidays.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffet absolutely heaving and could almost never get a seat.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Most activities aimed at older people. WW2 talks, how to deal with bad back. Wrinkle treatments! Felt like a Saga Cruise!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Absolutely brilliant every night.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Started excellent but deteriorated as the Holiday went on. Last few days there were quite long waits for food to be served.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very good though there could be more signage showing where key sections are.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very nice. Balcony had a walkway above which kept wind and (occasional) rain off.

Disembarkation

Always difficult to disembark a lot of people at once. However luggage was thrown about (some damage) and not grouped together as it should have been for collection so a 30 minute search was needed.

Just noticed the daft comments. You assume I was anti disabled or the elderly. I was merely stating fact so any younger families can chose to cruise or not.

you should of stayed at home and enjoyed your own company.

There is a lot of experience some of those older folks have, that they usually love to share. And disabled, they may not move around as much as you or I, but they usually have a nice outlook on life and the world. Things happen to all of us in time. Glad you enjoyed the evening entertainment.
