Ship: Veendam
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple

This was one of the best cruises we've been on. If you just want to relax and not be pressured into anything then this ship is for you. From the time we arrived at the dock in New York, everything was smooth and easy. The room was a little larger than we've ever had. The food was excellent in the dining room, and the buffet had a large variety of foods. The pool has a retractable roof which really came in handy during two days at sea.

Pros: The ship is geared more towards relaxation rather than doing all that you can do. There are so many places on the ship to just hang and listen to music while having some cocktails.

Cons: The only thing I can complain about is the air conditioning didn't appear to be as strong as it should be, especially in the staterooms.
