Not up to Holland America's standards

The crew for the most part was very courteous. However, there were too many missteps along the way. The promised embarkation lunch for the Mariner's was mishandled. Sometimes what was written on the daily bulletin was different than what actually happened. We were traveling with friends who had a plumbing problem that wasn't handled properly for 5 days and Holland America did not do right by them. Meals were inconsistant as far as quality and as far as the proper temperature. Definitely not up to Holland America's standards.

Pros: The ship was a nice size

Cons: Lack of attention to details and going back on written promises
