7 Night Bermuda (New York Roundtrip)
Sail Date: July 25, 2010
Ship: Veendam
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Large Group
Reviewed: 7 years ago
The ship was very nice and well-maintained. They were very careful about sanitation. The shows were a little more low-key than on most ships, but had good quality singers. I liked the longer stays in ports.

Food and Dining

Food was good, but mealtimes were limited. We went on an excursion that did not return until 9 PM and all we could find was pizza, which was not very good. Service in dining rooms was slow.

Don't take the excursion to the beach - use public transport instead. Beach was not too nice that they took us to, but people who went to Horseshoe Bay said that was really nice.
Don't Miss: horseshoe bay

Pros: Music in the lounges; availability of NY Times headlines every day; slower pace

Cons: limited times of availablility of meals and difficulty getting reservations
